Compliance Process

1. Submit Your CV or Application Form

You can submit your CV and complete the online registration form via our website. Please note that all forms must be completed in order to register with us.

if you would prefer to complete paper forms, please request a hard copy registration pack from our compliance team on 0161 507 4790

2.Arrange Your Interview

Upon receipt of your registration form, we will arrange your interview with one of our recruitment consultants. Interviews can take place at one of our office locations.

3.Documentation/Certification Collation and Review

Our compliance officers are required to collate copies of various documentation which will vary by profession but likely to be as follows:

  • Completed registration form
  • Up to date CV
  • Passport
  • Visa (If applicable)
  • Proof of your address ie utility bill, bank statement x 2
  • National Insurance
  • DBS Certificate
  • Last five years of employment history
  • Professional references x 2
  • Indemnity Insurance
  • Proof of immunisation (Hep b, Varicella, Measles, Rubella & TB/BCG Scar)
  • Up to date training certificates
  • Professional qualifications
  • Proof of professional registration (NMC/GMC/HCPC/etc)
  • Statement of Entry (NMC/GMC/HCPC/etc)
  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Passport picture

    4. Compliance Process Complete

    Once we have completed all of the above, you are compliant and able to work.


    Please Note

    Our compliance team will help you to become initially compliant to work with us, but (most of) your documents will need renewing annually. Our maintenance team will contact you when a document is about to expire. Without up to date documentation, your consultant cannot place you.

    DBS Check:

    One of the most important documents you’ll need to work with Applocum is a valid DBS check. If you have already had an interview with an AppLocum Social Health team member but do not have a DBS check currently in place and wish to pay for this, please click the link for further details.


    Mandatory Training:

    It is essential that you have valid practical training before working with AppLocum Social. Most importantly, you must have evidence of valid practical Manual Handling and Basic Life Support training. Should you need to renew your training, our Care and Training Manager will enrol you onto one of our approved ‘Skills for Health’ aligned courses, please click the link for further details.

    Online Training:

    Food Hygiene, Conflict Resolution, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (Level 2), Safeguarding Children(Level 2) (Level 3 for Paeds), Infection Control, Health and Safety, Lone Working, COSHH, RIDDOR, Fire Safety, Compliant Handling, Equality, Diversity and Human rights, Information Governance (Data protection – Caldecott), Counter Fraud, Handling Violence and aggression (Mental Health),Control and Restraint (Mental health),Preventing Radicalisation, Handling Medication
